Margaret is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with five years of post-admission experience across civil litigation, insurance, personal injury claims, commercial law and conveyancing. She handles personal injury-related matters, including claims arising from accidents, insurance-related disputes and recovery of compensation for clients, as well as a range of civil and commercial disputes.

Margaret also supports the firm's Risk and Compliance Services, where she is involved in legal and regulatory compliance initiatives, risk assessments, compliance reviews and the development of practical measures to identify and mitigate legal and operational risks. She assists clients in strengthening their compliance frameworks and managing potential areas of legal and regulatory exposure.

Joy is a certified Project Management Professional with over four years of experience in business development, marketing and project delivery. She leads the firm's client engagements, growth strategy and brand positioning, aligning the firm's legal expertise with practical business outcomes and ensuring effective coordination of strategic initiatives.

Joy also leads the firm's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Department, where she coordinates the firm's ESG and sustainability practice. In this capacity, she supports the development and implementation of ESG strategies, compliance initiatives and sustainability-focused solutions for clients. Her role includes coordinating ESG assessments, compliance reviews, policy development and advisory engagements, with a focus on helping organisations integrate responsible business practices, sound governance and sustainability considerations into their operations.

Through her combined responsibilities in project management, business development and ESG, Joy contributes to the firm's strategic growth while supporting the delivery of practical, well-coordinated and forward-looking solutions to clients.

Timothy is an LLB finalist at Kenyatta University School of Law, currently undertaking his legal internship at the firm with hands-on exposure to litigation support, legal research and drafting. His prior attachments span insurance law, private practice and the Meru Law Courts.

Grace is responsible for overseeing the firm's legal operations, case administration and client service, ensuring that matters are efficiently coordinated and that clients receive timely, professional and responsive support throughout their engagement with the firm. She plays a key role in coordinating files, monitoring case progress, supporting the firm's legal teams and ensuring that administrative and operational processes run smoothly.

In addition to her broader operational responsibilities, Grace is in charge of the firm's Debt Collection Services Department, where she coordinates the administration and progression of debt recovery matters from initial instruction through to resolution. She works closely with the legal team and clients to ensure that recovery matters are properly documented, followed up and progressed efficiently, while maintaining clear communication and a professional approach throughout the recovery process.

Her strong organisational skills, attention to detail and commitment to client service contribute to the firm's efficient delivery of legal services and ensure that matters are handled with consistency, diligence and professionalism.

Imelda Maina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and a CPA qualification, bringing strong financial and accounting expertise to the firm. She oversees the firm's bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, financial reporting and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, accountability and sound financial management.

Imelda is also in charge of the firm's Tax Department and Audit & Assurance Department, where she leads the delivery and coordination of tax advisory and compliance services, statutory and financial audits, assurance engagements, tax reviews and related financial and compliance assessments. She works closely with clients to support effective tax management, regulatory compliance, sound financial reporting and robust internal controls.

Her combination of accounting expertise, tax knowledge and audit and assurance experience enables her to provide practical and commercially focused financial solutions while contributing to the firm's commitment to professional excellence and client service.

Wendy Mugure Mwangi is a Legal Intern at Nyawira Maina & Associates Advocates and a final-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) student at Strathmore University. She has gained practical legal experience through internships in private practice and the corporate sector, as well as a judicial attachment at the Milimani High Court and Environment and Land Court.

Wendy has experience in legal drafting, litigation support, court processes, contract drafting and dispute resolution. She holds a Certificate in Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and is committed to developing her legal knowledge and practical skills across diverse areas of legal practice.
